WHAT IS WEB HOSTING?

Web hosting is a service that allows organizations and individuals to post a website or web page onto the Internet. A web host, or web hosting service provider, is a business that provides the technologies and services needed for the website or webpage to be viewed on the Internet. Websites are hosted or stored, on special computers called servers.

When a user wants to view a website, they enter the website's domain name (such as example.com) into their web browser. The browser then sends a request to the server where the website is hosted, and the server sends the website's content back to the user's browser, which displays the website on the user's device.

There are different types of web hosting services, including shared hosting, virtual private server (VPS) hosting, dedicated hosting, and cloud hosting. The type of web hosting service you choose will depend on your specific needs and budget. Web hosting services can be provided by a variety of hosting providers, including large companies and smaller, independent hosts.
